Thoughts on Animal Testing

I think some animals should be treated differently because some animals could be harmless like a dog or a pet of some kind. But other animals like a bear or a lion should be treated with more caution because they are more dangerous. I don't think we should test on animals because we could possibly harm the animal and if we continue to, we could possibly make the animal extinct. I think if we tested on mice we would really affect our ecosystem since birds and snakes eat the mice and "pests" and if they don't have a meal the snakes and birds would die out. I think it would be okay to test the drug on an animal to see if it would actually benefit us. Or maybe it would be tested on a person who would be willing to be tested on instead of an innocent animal. And I think the probability of the drug would matter as well to see what the chances are of possible death.

Mutations Blog

What I learned of mutations is that they aren't a bad thing and that they could lead to downsindrome. The most interesting mutation I've learned of is the two headed turtle because I've never seen it before and it was interesting to learn of. I don't mind it, it seems to workout alright. Next time I would probably listen more to what the video is saying and try to visualize a bit more as well.

Hi, my name is Damien Robinson, I go to freedom middle school. I love sports, science, math and reading. 8th grade so far was cool, my favorite part was, for sure, the Springfield trip. Most of the teachers are pretty cool too. My favorite subject is P.E. It is a fun way to stay healthy and have fun!
